Description
Screenwriter Ann Peacock (The Chronicles of Narnia, Kit Kittredge: An American Girl, Nights in Rodanthe) has been hired to write the movie adaptation of John Grisham’s 1997 novel “The Partner”.
The project, from Oscar-winning producer Robert Chartoff (Rocky) and newcomer Velocity Management with producer Grant Turck, centers on a disillusioned lawyer who steals $90 million from his law firm, stages his own death and successfully disappears for several years. What at first seems to be a brilliant white-collar crime is further complicated by a murder charge.

FINALLY! FINALLY! FINALLY! I read this when I was 17 and fell in love with the book and Grisham’s writing. I said it would be the next movie when I finished it(little early on that prediction). The Testament 2011?!?

Just finished the book last night – so many possible scenarios came to mind at the end. Can’t wait to see the movie although I don’t agree with any of the post pics for who should play who. Anyway, I was afraid to read the last chapter but when I did I thought one of two things must have happened! Not to mention – I was involved in a semi-heated debate since I believe everyone got what they needed, deserved, or wanted at the end but not everyone believes that.
