John Grisham’s first nonfiction book, the #1 New York Times bestselling story of murder and injustice in a small town, is on sale for the first time in paperback.
In “The Innocent Man”, John Grisham presents a mesmerizing exploration of small town justice gone terribly awry in the true story of major league ball-player, Ron Williamson-a man who had it all… then had it all taken away.

The Innocent Man—what a disappointment. Quarter of the way through the book I realize it is a true story that I could have read in a newspaper.
Furthermore, JG does not know enough about bipolar depression to write about the subject that inadvertantly got him into trouble.
All that meticulous research he is given credit for by reviewers is about the actual event, not the condition.
Next time, I hope he goes back to what he excels at—fiction writing.
