Best-selling author John Grisham will deliver the commencement address during the 2007 School of Law Commencement Exercises at Washington and Lee University on Saturday, May 12. Commencement will begin at 11:00 a.m. on the lawn between the Colonnade and Lee Chapel and is open to the public.
“We are thrilled and honored that Mr. Grisham will be delivering our Commencement address”, said Class President Allison Langston. “What Mr. Grisham depicts so eloquently in each of his books is the very personal, and very human, struggle each attorney must face to use the law fairly and with integrity. The values he emphasizes in his books fit perfectly with those we hold dear at W&L.”
